We are looking to recruit additional support workers for the Shropshire Sanctuary.

Various evening and night hours available.

If you have experience of working and supporting people within the mental health sector, if you have an insight into service provision and are passionate and dedicated to supporting people with a truly person centred approach, then we would like to hear from you.

 An interest in counselling, a counselling qualification or working towards a qualification will be required.

A huge thank you to Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery for the hosting the Depressed Cake Shop on World Mental Health Day. And thank you to over 60 people who took part and helped raised £250.47 for Shropshire Mind. It really is appreciated. Together we can make a difference.

Well done and thank you to John Holden from Church Stretton who completed a 50 mile cycle ride on 26th September to raise money for Shropshire Mind.

A big thank you to the Independent Network Club for the huge cheque for £1,300

December 2016 – Shropshire Mind is Proud to Announce;




Shropshire Mind has been successful in its application to become part of Building    Better Opportunities, this project will run for a period of 130 weeks, allowing the delivery of the Reconnect Group to be rolled out to Wellington, Bridgnorth and Oswestry from February 2017.

Shropshire Mind is Proud to Announce in September 2016;

That Lloyds Bank Foundation have kindly agreed to support the funding of the          Reconnect Group.  The programme is both innovative and person centred, it aims to deliver a 36 week programme that  is tailored to a persons specific needs, creating a truly person centred peer support network within the  community.  The programme is split into three 12 week modules, all aiming at progression within the  programme.
